We work with artisans, predominantly women, from Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana, and Tanzania. We have talented teams of local Rwandans, Ugandans, Ghanaians, and Tanzanians working in each country who partner directly with our artisans.

Yes, we have a process that includes bringing artisan representatives to the table to negotiate fairly for the artisans' time and energy. We commit to providing wages that are 6-10 time more than what our artisans were previously making. Our artisans are paid for their work upon completion of each item, long before these products reach shelves and are sold in stores.

We also have the highest in fair wages and supply chain transparency with a certification called the Nest Seal. AAA is one of ten companies globallywith the Nest certification and the only one currently on the African continent. The Nest Seal is the highest standard for assessing artisan homeworker production and supply chains and indicates that fair wages are paid, supply chains are adhered to, that no children are in the workforce, and that the organic materials and dyes used are ethically sourced.

Our artisan partners are extremely talented and weave everything by hand using locally-sourced materials native to the region. In Rwanda, our partners weave with sisal and sweetgrass. In Uganda, they weave with banana sticks and raffia. In Ghana, our partners weave with elephant grass. By using local and renewable materials we know not only where everything comes from, but we also can create more jobs for the local material sourcers.

If you need to make a change or cancel your order please contact our customer service at support@thekazishop.com. Since we try to process our orders as fast as possible to get to you in the shortest time, contact us shortly after your order is placed and we will do our best to help you out!

You can enter your promo code at checkout. Enter the code exactly how it appears and hit apply. Promo codes can't be combined with other promotions and will not apply to sale items unless otherwise specified.

KAZI accepts payments from all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as from Paypal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

We offer a range of delivery methods from USPS to UPS ground and expedited services. You can select your preferred shipping method at checkout and you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order ships out.

Shipping

Shipping confirmation emails are sent as soon as your package is shipped. Please refer to the tracking information within this email. If you did not receive a shipping confirmation email, please contact our customer service at support@thekazishop.com so we can help you.

At this time we are only shipping within the United States, but we will be offering international shipping soon - stay tuned!

Returns

If you're not happy, we're not happy. Regular priced products purchased on the KAZI website are eligible for return for 30 days from delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Please Note: if you received an incorrect or damaged item, you will need to send photos of what you received to support@thekazishop.com.

To return an item, please email support@thekazishop.com with the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for return. Please kindly ship the items back to the address we provide to you and once received we will refund you for the product(s). A $5.00 restocking fee will apply.

If you received an item as a gift that you wish to return, please email support@thekazishop.com. As long as the item was shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your gift item(s). Once the return is received, a gift credit will be emailed to you.

While we do our best to fulfill all orders accurately, sometimes mistakes happen. In this case, please send a photo of the item(s) you received to support@thekazishop.com and a member of our team will promptly assist you.

We stand behind our artisans' excellent craftmanship and guarantee its quality. For purchases made directly from KAZI, please send photos and a description of the issue to support@thekazishop.com and we will be more than happy to assist you.
