From the moment I opened the package, I was stunned by this piece. While it is intended to be hung on the wall, it actually fits the decor in my recently revamped dining room perfectly and I'm using it as a display item on a ladder shelf. The weave is beautiful, it's sturdy, and the colors have lovely depth and character. I added some small coordinating items I found in the dollar aisle for now, until I find what I would like to display long term. I love the mission of this company and the care the artisans have clearly put into their craft. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the opportunity to test this product!

This handwoven bowl is truly a work of art. Th artisan put a lot of time into creating this masterpiece. It is displayed on a wall for my family and guests to enjoy. The colors beautifully match my living room with a soft green, dark green and tan. On the back of the bowl there are four hanging loops to choose various options to display the bowl. The bowl itself has about a 4" depth from the wall so it adds a texture to any display. Also, attached to the back of the bowl is a biography tag of the maker, info about the product and how to clean it. The bowl itself didn't arrive in any special packaging. It was simply in a white packing envelope without any type of protective wrapping. Thankfully the product was all intact without damage which speaks for the quality and durability of the bowl. Upon opening the package, there was a very strong odor of sweet hay or a grass of some sort. It wasn't a foul smell but it did remind me of being on a farm or in a hay barn. After being on display and out of the package, the smell dissipated. And after a few days, the odor was completely unnoticed. Included with the bowl was a booklet introducing the product, the makers and how to display the item with color photos of several items in varying sizes, depths and designs. On the inside back page of the booklet, it encourages customers to share designs on social media with a hashtag included. On the back cover is a webpage, email and contact phone number for Kazi. I think what Kazi is providing is a wonderful service. It creates a job and sense of self-worth for these makers while providing them wages for their goods. In return, consumers are able to display the beautiful work in their home or place of business. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this 10" woven bowl. I know have a beautiful piece of art work on display.

I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. This bowl is beautiful and sturdy, and I appreciate Kazi’s commitment to supporting artisans. I love the idea of hanging the bowl on a wall if I’d purchase more, but having just one I will probably use it more as a basket. The colors are beautiful and the bowl seems very well-made. It has 4 loops on the bottom for hanging on a wall if you want to display it. I really like the colors and will enjoy having this bowl in my home!
